Glud & Marstrand-LRØ - the leading development team in Denmark

  Above all, the Danish continental team Glud & Marstrand-LRØ is a dynamic team that churns out talent for the WorldTour scene every year. Also it has been one of the most dominant Danish cycling teams since receiving UCI license in 2000. Last year, the team won more races than any other Danish continental teams: 28 wins among 12 different riders.

The 2012 team consists of a bunch of talented U/23 riders - including national U/23 riders - alongside high-grade experienced riders with lots of international races on their resume.

 Glud & Marstrand-LRØ is a professional cycling team that wants to maintain its position as the leading development team in Denmark. However, we also attach great importance to our set of core values:

 

DEVELOPING THE WHOLE PERSON

We see the developmental aspects of the individual itself as an integral part of the person's riding skills. Therefore, it takes personal as well as physical development to become a professional bike rider. We want our riders to be fast bike riders. But we also want them to show and develop loyalty, empathy, team spirit and a sense of unity.

 

 

 We develop talents for Team Saxo Bank

Glud & Marstrand-LRØ is an attractive development team that many young riders want to be a part of. Hence, many personal sucesses and international cycling careers have been founded here, including the current Team Saxo Bank riders Troels Vinther, Christopher Juul-Jensen, Kasper Klostergaard and Mads Christensen.

The Dane Kasper Klostergaard, no. 3 at the 2011 Paris Tours, says: "The team provides the riders with the right skills in order to make them ready for entering the international stage.
